Scott-Marrin
was one of the first companies in the United States to make
EPA Protocol gases commercially available for environmental
monitoring purposes. Since the mid 1970's, Scott-Marrin
was manufacturing low-level mixtures in nitrogen and
UltraPure Air packaged exclusively in aluminum cylinders. EPA
Protocol gas mixtures resulted in an excellent fit for our
current area of expertise.
EPA Protocol mixtures are analyzed in accordance with "EPA
Traceability Protocol for Assay and Certification of Gaseous
Calibration Standards" document number EPA-600/R97/121 revised
September 1997. All mixtures are traceable to the
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) gaseous
Standard Reference Materials (SRM) using EPA procedures, and
meet or exceed the appropriate EPA Protocol specifications for
accuracy.
A
Certificate of Analysis is provided with each mixture.
The COA contains the replicate analysis data, the NIST
traceable reference standard and the analytical instrument
used in the analysis.
Below is a
listing of individual components and their EPA ranges.
